Security Analyst Level 2

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, Incident Responder).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk assessment.
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEMs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security solutions, vulnerability scanners).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the investigation and response to complex security incidents, including malware analysis, threat hunting, and forensic data analysis.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of security incidents.
• Develop and implement remediation plans to mitigate security risks.
• Proactively hunt for threats within the IT environment.
• Analyze threat intelligence feeds and integrate findings into security operations.
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist with security assessments and vulnerability scans.
