Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience with payer enrollment related applications and processes, including Medicaid and Commercial payers.
  • Experience in outpatient group contracting is a plus.
  • Expertise in using Google Suite tools (Sheets, Docs, Gmail).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in busy work environments, working independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of ensuring complex enrollment packages are complete and correct.
  • Takes initiative with projects, breaking them down into actionable steps.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with various internal and external contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to foster good working relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Research insurance provider enrollment requirements by state and understand specific application requirements for each payer.
  • Prepare and submit complete health plan enrollment requests from application retrieval to notifying clients upon request completion.
  • Follow up on provider enrollment applications with providers and insurance companies via telephone, email, and online portals.
  • Interact with providers to gather information for applications and payer requests.
  • Update and maintain Payor and Provider Enrollment Trackers.
  • Maintain organized document copies and files accessible to internal stakeholders.
  • Establish working relationships with payer representatives to streamline submissions.
  • Enter group/individual data into the credentialing system.
  • Prepare special reports and summaries as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
