Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year previous outside property claim handling experience or successful completion of Travelers Outside Claim Representative training program required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of estimating system Xactimate preferred.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational and time management skills preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Handles 1st party property claims of moderate severity and complexity as assigned.
  • Completes field inspections of losses including scope of damages and estimates.
  • Investigates and evaluates facts to determine coverage and liability.
  • Determines settlement amounts based on estimates and validates contractor estimates.
  • Negotiates settlements with various parties and communicates necessary documentation.
  • Provides excellent customer service and maintains compliance with state regulations.
