Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a customer support/customer service role and/or a strong desire to learn.
  • Excellent interactive and communication abilities, both written and verbal, especially in broker-facing roles.
  • Resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and desire to operate in a start-up environment.
  • Experience with Zendesk is a plus.
  • Prior insurance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer inbound questions and requests from insurance brokers and current policyholders over email, live chat, and phone.
  • Ensure brokers and current customers receive the necessary assistance from underwriting, business development, security, and claims teams.
  • Educate brokers on Coalition’s cyber insurance products and assist with using the online quoting platform.
  • Perform administrative functions including manual submissions, Certificates of Currency provision, and policy date changes.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement changes that mitigate customer pain points.
