Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS management (e.g. Success Factors, Ceridian, Workday or related), involving system upgrades and HR analytics.
- Experience in configuring, mapping, and integrating HRIS platforms, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
Responsibilities:
- Configure HRIS systems, ensuring alignment with best practices, organizational goals, and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement innovative HR solutions that leverage available tools and deliver high stakeholder value.
- Lead day-to-day HRIS implementation efforts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet defined objectives.
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support and deliver training to system users to maximize adoption and efficiency.
- Oversee HRIS updates to maintain seamless functionality and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues effectively.
- Collect and integrate data from multiple sources to analyze workforce dynamics, identifying trends, correlations, and predictive factors.
- Monitor and interpret HR metrics to align with organizational KPIs.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to support talent management, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity, supporting sound decision-making.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance HR operations through process optimization and automation.
- Develop and execute improvements with a focus on data accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including standard operating procedures, to support process consistency and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., PIPEDA, Pay Equity).
- Develop and enforce data governance practices to maintain accuracy, consistency, and security across HR systems.
- Monitor and manage system security, user access, and permissions in line with privacy and security policies.
- Perform employee data entry and maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure consistent data governance amongst the systems and adherence to organizational policies.
- Manage projects intersecting people analytics and HRIS to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and timely execution.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support HR operations and strategic goals.
