Requirements:
  • Excellent systems-level analytical skills.
  • Ability to move up and down the stack.
  • Data-conscious, iterative approach to debugging and development.
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience with web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Websockets.
  • Development experience with Safar Telestroke Platform.
  • Experience with integration methodologies such as HL7 and SMART on FHIR.
  • Team collaboration and use of source control tools (git).
  • Configuration management systems/config-as-code.
  • Local and remote debugging.
  • Familiarity with SSH and VPN tunnels.
  • Knowledge of common security best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and unit test both frontend and backend application code for the Consult/Safar platform.
  • Participate in agile practices including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions.
  • Develop APIs that meet the needs of hospital systems, clinical researchers, and pharmacies.
  • Produce code with an emphasis on readability, reliability, maintainability, and adherence to system-wide architectural principles.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to define feature specifications and build next-generation products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems on internal servers/environments.
  • Communicate technical risks across the group and implement performance improvement and security hardening of web applications and infrastructure.
