Requirements:

• Native or business proficiency in English.
• 2+ years of professional experience in conversation design or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of current large language models (LLMs).
• Mastery in language mechanics and awareness of personal bias in language style.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Noted experience in crafting presentations and documentation.
• Previous experience in leading or mentoring teams.
• Hands-on experience with Python and related tools is a plus.
• Advanced degree in relevant fields is preferred.
• Experience in conveying complex concepts to non-technical staff.
• Extensive experience in systems design for enterprise applications.
• Native or business proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of AI ethics is desirable.
• Knowledge of backend technologies and integration is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement prompts for conversational AI applications.
• Contribute to a reusable, flexible prompt system for scalability and personalization.
• Conduct tests of prompt performance to set business expectations.
• Monitor AI feature performance and address technical issues.
• Educate non-technical staff on prompt engineering.
• Ensure technical feasibility of feature requests, collaborating with product teams.
• Gather and organize feedback for product performance reporting.
• Optimize prompt performance for fast output and application responsiveness.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API requirements.
• Integrate with product leadership to shape AI product vision.
• Stay updated on industry trends in prompt engineering.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings for alignment.
