Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Sales Engineer for industrial/capital tangible sales.
  • Experience in long-term sales cycles, sales planning, and account management.
  • Engineering and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Experience in developing and implementing long-term sales strategies.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience in capital equipment and OEM selling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant work experience.
  • Driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform Business Development functions within an assigned territory to secure existing accounts and cultivate new placements.
  • Develop and maintain business within the distributor network to maximize sales potential.
  • Provide long-term account management including technical assistance and product training.
  • Keep customers informed about products, services, and pricing.
  • Evaluate accounts and recommend changes to maximize sales in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare quotes for new product sales and recommend pricing policy changes.
  • Meet established sales quotas and report on competitive products and marketing matters.
  • Control and manage expenses while maintaining customer activity documentation.
