Requirements:
  • 2+ years of previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Sales Engineer for industrial/capital tangible sales.
  • Experience in long-term sales cycle, sales planning, and account management.
  • Engineering and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement long-term sales strategies.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience in capital equipment and OEM selling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or relevant industrial equipment sales experience.
  • Driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle are required.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 60%.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform Business Development functions within an assigned territory to secure existing account base and cultivate new account placements.
  • Provide long-term account management with technical assistance, product training, sales support, and other requirements.
  • Keep customers informed about available products, services, prices, programs, and marketing tools.
  • Evaluate existing and potential accounts and recommend changes to maximize sales.
  • Prepare quotes and recommend special terms as required.
  • Meet established sales quota by obtaining new equipment orders.
  • Keep the company informed of competitive products and market strategies.
  • Control and report expenses incurred in functions on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all key customer activities in the CRM system.
