Requirements:

• Experience with building enterprise SaaS applications developed in Java and AWS for over 100,000 concurrent users.
• Knowledge of message queuing systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS for enhancing application scalability.
• Experience in application re-architecture and refactoring for scalability and performance.
• Familiarity with software release processes, quality assurance, and performance benchmarking.
• Understanding of JVM memory issues and experience with memory consumption diagnostics.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema and query design.
• Understanding of authentication technologies such as SAML & OIDC.
• Experience developing test suites for validating software quality under load.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, including GitLab.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze product problems and system performance to create secure and scalable solutions.
• Deliver quality, well-tested code to our API, web, and Java applications.
• Lead design and architecture discussions in a kanban style environment.
• Establish and maintain coding standards while participating in code reviews.
• Automate repetitive tasks and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Mentor and collaborate within the engineering team to maintain its strength.
• Produce concise documentation for applications and infrastructure for the appropriate audience.
