Requirements:

• Experience working with text data to build deep learning and ML models, both supervised and unsupervised.
• Strong understanding of the math and theory behind machine learning and deep learning.
• Software engineering background with at least 3-5 years of experience in Python, SQL, Unix systems, git, and GitHub.
• Machine/deep learning development skills, including experiment tracking using AWS SageMaker, Hugging Face, and PyTorch.
• Understanding of language models, including training and fine-tuning.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

• Work with subject matter experts and product owners to determine key questions for machine learning.
• Curate, generate, and annotate data, creating optimal datasets for model training.
• Answer questions and create trainable datasets using SQL queries and scripts.
• Develop and tune machine learning models, selecting datasets and architectures.
• Utilize language models, including third-party LLMs, through prompt engineering.
• Stay updated with research and share findings, optimizing models for production use.
• Communicate model insights to peers and stakeholders.
• Write clean and efficient code with appropriate documentation.
