Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in a compliance role within the insurance industry, ideally motor insurance.
• Deep understanding of Gibraltar’s regulatory environment and international compliance standards.
• Strong relationship with the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong awareness of Consumer Duty regulations in Gibraltar and the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting the motor insurance sector, ensuring compliance with laws.
• Implement strategies for consumer duty compliance and develop transparent policies.
• Lead development of compliance policies and ensure integration into business processes.
• Establish a Compliance Monitoring Plan and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Conduct risk assessments on compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Deliver training on compliance requirements to employees.
• Engage with stakeholders to enhance compliance frameworks and advise on compliance matters.
