Requirements:

• Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior technology leadership role, ideally as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar.
• Expertise in software development, autonomy, sensor integration, real-time systems, and control systems.
• Solid understanding of radio systems, electronics, and cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated success in scaling tech teams during rapid growth stages.
• Strong ability to translate complex technological challenges into business solutions.
• Experience in managing both internal teams and external development partners.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and cutting-edge technology.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with government contracting, including navigating regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall technology roadmap to support the vision and growth.
• Oversee the development of advanced autonomy, sensor fusion, electronics, and control systems.
• Lead the development of robust software solutions including autonomy algorithms, radio communications, cybersecurity, and real-time applications.
• Develop and enforce a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, developers, and technical leads.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external partners.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning as part of the leadership team.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for all tech-related initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
