Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in a similar operations role or as a paralegal, ideally at a major law firm or in-house at a public company.
- B.A. or B.S. degree.
- Impressive organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and high professionalism.
- Ability to work proactively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SEC filings and reporting requirements.
- Experience conducting legal research and reviewing contract terms.
- Tech-savviness including experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and ideally with Salesforce, Carta, and Shareworks.
Responsibilities:
- Support corporate governance processes including maintaining minute books and assisting with board matters.
- Assist with securities law compliance.
- Manage contracts and corporate documents, including contract review and tracking key terms.
- Drive progress on cross-functional projects and improve processes.
- Act as liaison for third parties and assist internal clients.
- Track operational performance and implement improvements.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research.
- Manage legal technology solutions.
