Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience across VMware core technologies at a senior support level.
- Experience in VMware subject areas such as Compute, Infrastructure, Networking, or Automation.
- Advanced knowledge of ESXi and vCenter Server.
- Strong skills in Storage, especially SRM.
- Experience in configuring VMware virtual solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- VMware and industry certifications such as VCAP-DCV or CCNA.
- Experience in handling critical customer situations.
Responsibilities:
- Occasional after hours, weekends and holidays support for urgent customer issues.
- Must have excellent customer focus and communication.
- Ability to troubleshoot customer issues in a remote environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a global team in a 24x7 support model.
- Drive customer satisfaction by tracking and minimizing aging cases.
- Provide root cause analysis for technical issues when requested.
- Assist with creating and maintaining relevant knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience.
- Promote best practices and new methodologies.
