Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing data governance programs.
• Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and issues related to management of enterprise information assets.
• Responsible for designing, establishing, and implementing data governance framework and key artifacts.
• Expertise in metadata management and configuration tools like Data Catalog, Business Glossaries.
• Understanding of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends.
• Proficient in tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or other data governance platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust data governance framework, including policies, standards, and best practices.
• Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure accountability across the organization.
• Establish and monitor data quality metrics and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Lead initiatives to resolve data-related issues and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with business units, data stewards, and IT teams to ensure alignment with data governance objectives.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to enforce governance policies and resolve conflicts.
• Provide insights into governance activities through regular reporting and dashboards.
• Analyze and improve the organization’s data lifecycle processes.
