Requirements:

• Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal.
• Intellectual curiosity for solving problems in software systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Technical experience with tools and technologies in our stack is a plus (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, containers, Cilium, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Go, Python, or other related tools and languages).
• Empathy for our users and other engineers and communicating effectively.
• Ability to get things done and share what you learned along the way.
• Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a project while learning something new in an area of your interest and with autonomy.
• Be mentored by an experienced engineer through the internship and advance in your career goals.
• Show off your work and impact on the entire company at the end of your internship.
• Connect, learn, and hear from engineering leaders and executives at MyFitnessPal.
• Grow your cloud skills and learn about all the technologies that MFP uses in production.
