Collections Specialist

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing or technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensure proper documentation for transactions.
• Coordinate with the revenue team on revenue recognition and reconciliation.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, prepare financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide explanations for variances.
• Prepare reports for internal/external stakeholders and assist in regulatory filings.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance team members.
