Sr. Life Reinsurance Analyst – Special Projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in life reinsurance operations and information technology.
• Knowledge of financial systems and familiarity with databases and complex Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of TAI and/or other reinsurance applications.
• Experience in reinsurance, insurance, or financial services is preferred.
• Exceptional reinsurance administration and operations skills.
• Deep knowledge of reinsurance administration for life insurance companies.
• Excellent analytic skills and detail-oriented.
• SQL and Alteryx querying experience is preferred.
• Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
• Experience in analyzing and understanding key data.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis for decision-making at various management levels.
• Develop solutions to complex problems using creativity within the broader context of business needs.
• Serve as a liaison for special projects with third-party reinsurance partners.
• Participate in corporate modernization and financial operation transformation projects.
• Assist in the design of internal controls related to Life Special Project activities.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for senior management regarding reinsurance modernization.
• Conduct quality assurance or user acceptance testing for key reinsurance modernization efforts.
• Assist in the systems setup of new life reinsurance arrangements.
• Engage in knowledge sharing, peer training, and documentation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing for modernization efforts.
