Requirements:

• Degree level (or equivalent) qualification related to Sustainability, ESG, or Environmental fields.
• Demonstrated experience in a target driven sales role.
• Full clean driving license for use in the UK.
• Working knowledge of Sustainability/ESG in a Business Development Manager context is desirable.
• Project Management qualifications such as Prince2, Six Sigma, CAPM, or PMP are preferred.
• Customer Service qualifications such as NVQ, Practitioner, or Institute of Customer Service are also desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, contact and develop new customers who have never previously traded with SGS.
• Re-engage lapsed customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Present SGS products and services effectively to potential clients.
• Create compelling business cases to encourage customers to engage with SGS.
• Generate new business revenues to meet budgetary and strategic goals.
• Maintain and develop personal knowledge and industry expertise.
• Stay ahead of market trends by utilizing professional memberships and trade associations.
• Identify and respond to new market opportunities, competitors, and regulatory developments.
