Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience designing and maintaining complex/large/growing systems.
• Experience with tools like Kubernetes, Pulumi, Terraform.
• Ability to think critically about system designs or code.
• Strong debugging skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Proactive approach to fixing issues and suggesting improvements.
• A need for metrics to ensure system functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Scale Amplemarket’s core cloud platform for high availability and performance.
• Detect blindspots and add observability to mitigate them.
• Work closely with product engineers to design reliable rollouts of new features.
• Review code, proposals and participate in architectural discussions.
• Build reproducible automations for urgent infrastructure needs.
• Define solutions to save internal teams' time when moving code to production.
• Monitor potential threats and patches with a security-first mindset.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the development process/workflow.
