Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Professional certification CPA or CISA.
• 2+ years of IT SOX audit experience.
• Preferred experience with Big 4 audit firm background.
• Proficient in IT general controls, application controls, IT infrastructure security and controls.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and flowcharting software.
• Knowledge of IIA standards, COSO, and COBIT control models.
• Experience with ERP systems and third-party applications.
• Familiarity with internal audit software such as AuditBoard and Workiva.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing audit data using computer-aided tools such as Excel spreadsheets and ACL.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, proactive, with ability to work independently.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments of in-scope systems, processes, and controls to verify that controls are designed appropriately and operating effectively.
• Assist in the definition of remediation plans, activities, and retesting.
• Perform operating effectiveness testing and ensure documentation of test results.
• Analyze SOX testing results and work with management on remediation plans for deficiencies.
• Document audit work results per Internal Audit and IIA standards.
• Provide updates on the status of SOX testing plans and identified issues.
• Facilitate external auditor SOX testing.
• Research and stay current on technical literature applicable to internal controls.
