Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT Security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Certification in information technology security, such as CISSP or CISSM.
• Ability to obtain federal agency required clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Provides cybersecurity guidance and recommendations to business and system owners.
• Assists in navigating and completing IT and cybersecurity tasks.
• Serves as a liaison between business and system owners and cybersecurity staff.
• Drafts waivers and risk acceptance memos.
• Monitors changes to FIPS 199 data types.
• Aids in drafting and maintaining policies and procedures related to information handling.
• Supports the business owner in defining appropriate use rules.
• Helps determine content that can be publicly released.
• Defines and documents allowed and prohibited accounts for the system.
• Reviews system access requests and provides recommendations.
