SDET / QA Automation Engineer for ELS (remote-only, location - Europe)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation (not limited to UI/API).
• 6+ years in QA.
• Fluent in Linux CLI and strong shell scripting knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of Python programming (preferably 2.7).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Python.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Docker, and CI/CD systems.
• Experience with Jenkins scripted/declarative pipelines.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles.
• Intermediate English level and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for package failures caused by errors in updates.
• Prepare documentation clarifying aspects of the product's environment.
• Add automated test scenarios in Python, maintain continuous test execution in Jenkins, track test cycle results, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and modify test environment, create new configurations for customer requirements.
• Expand test automation within CI and CD environments and collaborate with engineers.
