Requirements:
  • 7+ years in sales, business development, product management, or a related field, with a focus on AI data sales, AI partnerships, or data-driven business models.
  • Proven track record of building new revenue streams for high growth, SaaS software companies.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, particularly as they relate to data training.
  • Experience launching new products and leading go-to-market efforts.
  • Experience in transitioning one-time sales into recurring revenue models.
  • Proven leadership in initiating and managing large-scale partnerships or sales efforts.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and business concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategy to sell HackerRank’s developer skills data, transitioning it into a recurring revenue stream.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies, defining pricing, positioning, and value propositions for data offerings.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with companies in the AI and technology sectors, identifying opportunities to leverage our data for AI model training and other use cases.
  • Lead and close complex, high-value data deals, working directly with clients to showcase the value of HackerRank.
  • In partnership with the product and engineering teams, lead the launch of data products, coordinating successful rollouts and impactful market entry.
  • Stay informed about trends in AI, data monetization, and the developer community to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Design, test, and optimize commercial models for data sales, with a focus on building sustainable revenue streams.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing strong people skills to inspire, persuade, and influence outcomes.
  • Establish processes and systems for scalable data sales operations, including legal, compliance, and data delivery mechanisms.
