Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with QA (Automation).
• 2+ years experience with QA automation tools like Maestro, Detox, Playwright, or Appium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Github Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript or React Native.
• Eager to learn and possess extreme curiosity; ability to work independently.
• Extreme ownership to champion the QA process and engage engineers.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile devices (Android, iOS).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Solid understanding of QA concepts like Page Object Model, Test Pyramid, etc.
• Experience leading a QA project within a squad.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test cases for mobile applications using Maestro.
• Maintain the current E2E CI/CD pipeline in MacStadium and Github actions.
• Champion the QA process within the Polaris group to foster a collaborative quality-first mindset.
• Coordinate efforts to tackle bugs, validate, maintain quality, and add E2E test cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Report and manage bugs and leverage automated testing to identify and isolate issues.
• Stay updated with mobile automation technologies to improve test processes and methodologies.
