Requirements:
  • Strong command of verbal and written English.
  • Little to no accent when speaking.
  • Background in the dental insurance or collections industries.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on collections experience.
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as this is a remote position.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow-up on outstanding insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Send out claims and attachments to insurance companies.
  • Determine the validity of denials and address them appropriately.
  • Generate OI reports and ensure their monthly completion.
  • Handle claim resubmissions and reprocessing, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clear rejected claims weekly and update the office tracker with payments posted.
  • Complete assigned follow-ups and generate EFT reports from insurance portals.
  • Post insurance payments according to office preference, uploading EOB and making adjustments.
  • Identify and communicate any issues with insurance processes, remaining professional and adhering to work ethics.
