Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, with a concentration in Labor Relations, Employee Relations, or Human Resource Administration preferred.
- At least three years of professional experience in Labor and Employee Relations.
- Familiarity with employment laws and grievance processes.
- Prior experience leading or assisting with CBA negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work across different organizational levels.
- Experience working with an hourly union employee population.
- Familiarity with matter management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares for, conducts, or advises on Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations.
- Drafts or assists in drafting CBAs and MOUs.
- Provides counsel and guidance to managers and HR Business Partners on labor relations matters.
- Drafts settlement agreements, disciplinary warnings, and grievance responses.
- Investigates labor relations issues and coordinates responses.
- May assist with new business transitions and union elections.
- Analyzes case trends to recommend labor relations strategies.
- Manages labor relations projects assigned by the Director.
