Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, Design) with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or a similar role.
- Comprehensive experience in the design cycle of warehouses, distribution, and fulfillment centers, including machine design and full factory design engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software for facility design and experience with business/technical software like MS Excel and MS Project.
- At least 3 years of experience utilizing data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering design projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willing to travel at least 40% time.
- Must have and maintain US citizenship or permanent residency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to deliver innovative solutions for our customers’ fulfillment and distribution systems, from conceptual design to approval.
- Lead multiple projects with a keen eye on quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring designs meet or exceed expectations.
- Oversee projects from start to finish, including the installation and commissioning phases, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to project concepts.
- Develop facility requirements, capacity, and rate models to guide design decisions.
- Manage engineering design projects across various stages and complexities, including integrated system designs and alignment with WMS, WES, WCS, and BMS systems.
