Principal UX Researcher

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in user experience research.
• Proven experience in leading various user research methods (interviews, user testing, surveys).
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive level audiences.
• Experience in an agile development environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with user research tools (e.g., Figma, Ballpark, Qualtrics) is a plus.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior researchers is a plus.
• Passion for the Hobby Industry and improving customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, design, conduct, and report on all phases of complex user research.
• Identify user needs and research questions.
• Develop and execute research plans including user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
• Analyze and synthesize research data to identify key insights and trends.
• Create presentations to communicate research findings to business partners.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design principles are integrated.
• Promote excellence in Research Operations.
• Develop and maintain understanding of user needs and behaviors.
• Stay current on UX research methodologies and best practices.
• Mentor junior UX researchers.
• Advocate for the value of user research within the organization.
• Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams.
