Requirements:

• A Master’s or higher degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Computational Linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and process language data.
• An understanding of cultural sensitivities and the ability to adapt content effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts and collaboration.
• Experience with localization software or knowledge in specific linguistics areas.
• Fluency or advanced proficiency in a language besides English, preferably Spanish or French.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of Large Language Models and voice synthesis tools for a specific non-English language, ensuring linguistic integrity.
• Collect and analyze linguistic data pertinent to the target language, including sourcing, annotating, and validating datasets.
• Provide expert insights on cultural nuances, ensuring accurate capture of idiomatic expressions and regional dialects.
• Develop localization strategies for adapting language models to specific regional contexts.
