Requirements:

• A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered, responsive UI/UX design for websites.
• 5+ years of professional experience designing responsive and mobile website products.
• 3+ years of experience in an agency setting.
• Familiarity with design and communication tools including Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Cloud, Slack, and Google Suite.
• Expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), heatmapping tools, and user testing platforms.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively and incorporate feedback.
• Experience working remotely and within distributed teams.
• Comfortable working in both waterfall and agile environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with evolving requirements.
• Familiarity with front-end web design practices and coding is a plus.
• Experience with mission-driven and nonprofit clients is a plus.
• Passion for web, open-source development, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Generate end-to-end visual design collateral for clients including strategic direction, pattern libraries, mood boards, wireframes, UI visuals, and high fidelity prototypes.
• Develop strategic UX deliverables such as sitemaps, user journeys, and personas informed by quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Lead discovery workshops and design tailored UX research methodologies.
• Collaborate with Content and UX Strategists on effective user experiences.
• Assist the internal marketing team with design support.
• Advocate for design within the company, articulating design rationale.
• Work with Project Management to define deliverables and schedules.
• Contribute to visual design direction and collaborate with the creative services team.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and give constructive feedback.
• Engage in marketing activities like conducting webinars and representing the brand.
