Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in creative writing or related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and writing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
  • Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals.
  • Great with MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Excellent research and communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both written and verbal forms.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the execution of the development of the department’s strategy.
  • Identify grant funding opportunities.
  • Write, submit and manage grant proposals.
  • Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents.
  • Collaborate with the CEO/Executive Team or Practice Owner to send proposals and newsletters.
  • Draft grant proposals based on funding requirements.
  • Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.
  • Respond to queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers.
  • Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
