Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA highly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in tax, with a focus on consumer products industry.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities within the consumer products industry.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations and timely filing of all tax returns.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of tax records and documentation.
• Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to clients in the consumer products industry.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and implement effective tax strategies.
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and develop practical solutions to minimize tax liabilities.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing and nurturing strong client relationships.
• Communicate complex tax issues clearly and effectively to clients.
