Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance for not-for-profit organizations.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws for not-profits.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for not-for-profit clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
• Understand clients' business operations to provide tailored tax advice.
• Oversee the preparation and review of tax filings for clients.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Stay informed about tax law changes affecting not-for-profits.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
• Manage workloads and project timelines for timely service delivery.
