Requirements:

• Proficiency in Golang, and an interest in touching other languages such as Typescript, Python, Kotlin.
• Experience with AWS IoT and serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS.
• Experience with/interest in DevOps tools such as Ansible and Kubernetes.
• Ability to switch contexts frequently to unblock other teams and autonomously prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of current trends in software design, event-driven architecture, and a strong interest in further development.
• Interest in applying agile development practices and a proactive, flexible, and hands-on mindset.
• Strong collaboration skills throughout code reviews, pair programming, and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop passenger management systems for an autonomous mobility service.
• Bridge the data flow of the AWS-based backend infrastructure and the in-vehicle components using AWS IoT services.
• Develop and improve the backend services used to manage in-vehicle components.
• Improve the CICD infrastructure responsible for building and distributing the embedded software releases.
• Participate in the full development life cycle, from design to implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance.
• Interface with VW Group, vendors, and other partners to align on software interfaces, tooling, and hardware.
