Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, public relations, or related field.
• Master's degree in strategic communications, public health, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in health communications and public health outreach.
• Experience in HIV preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide thoughtful solutions.
• Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Serving as a deputy project manager, working closely with the project manager to ensure timely deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Maintaining a robust, detailed project tracker.
• Leading the development and implementation of work plans, communications plans, and roll out plans.
• Leading outreach and promotion efforts across digital media and other platforms.
• Coordinating webinars and other online events.
• Overseeing content development and the creation of outreach materials.
• Providing oversight and strategic direction to junior staff.
• Mentoring junior staff and cultivating a collaborative work environment.
