Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or math.
• Hands-on experience with software development or data platform management for non-computer science majors.
• Data-driven mindset to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• 3+ years of experience in data product management or a related role.
• Expertise in data platforms like PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Looker.
• Knowledge of computing platforms, software architectures, and database designs.
• Experience with scrum methodology.
• Understanding of product development lifecycle and experience with SDLC tools.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate market, current and potential customers, and competition.
• Build an understanding of stakeholder questions in the transportation space using data.
• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data-driven products.
• Identify opportunities for new data products or enhancements.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear product specifications.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team on product features.
• Tell compelling stories using data to diverse audiences.
• Ensure product alignment and successful go-to-market strategy.
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholder requirements and updates.
• Create user documentation and internal enablement resources.
• Maintain a feedback loop for product improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry data security and privacy standards.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams for data ethics.
