Associate Category Manager (Heating)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred concentrations in Business Management, Merchandising, Engineering, or Marketing.
• 2-3 years of experience in Merchandising and product development, technical ability in the Heating industry preferred.
• Hard Parts knowledge in industry-related fields (Heating preferred).
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and retail systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Statistical analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high growth environment.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support the category strategies, including understanding industry trends, product assortments, and product reviews.
• Make recommendations to the Category team on new products and brands to launch that align with the category strategy.
• Review current products and perform product life management for new and existing products.
• Manage day-to-day vendor relationships and provide solutions to any issues.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional departments to support the category strategy.
• Assist with product promotions and educational strategies for new and existing products.
• Help grow sales for supported categories through innovative ideas and product positioning.
• Work with customers to gather insights and determine implementation strategies.
