Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience building production-grade web applications in Ruby on Rails, including HTML, CSS, JS, SQL.
• Strong interest in DevOps with experience in AWS, Docker, CircleCI.
• Excellent Object Oriented Programming skills and experience with non-Rails design patterns.
• Experience building software iteratively using feature flags and working in an agile environment.
• Experience writing and managing a test suite using rspec or equivalent.
• Team experience with queueing systems like Redis is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high EQ.
• Growth mindset with a desire to learn.
• Experience working on a distributed team and remote work.
