Requirements:
- A/V product knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong negotiation and selling ability.
- Mental capability for ongoing interactions and problem-solving.
- Ability to participate in team-oriented processes.
- Higher education or vocational training in a technical field preferred.
- 2 to 4+ years in a technical sales role in a B2B technology company.
- Experience with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work overtime or on-call.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct product trainings and presentations, providing technical qualification of sales opportunities.
- Support new and existing customers with pre and post-sale integration and application development assistance.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve post-sale technical issues.
- Initiate technical discussions with customers alongside the Sales team.
- Make presentations and perform product demonstrations for decision-makers.
- Create technical documents and drawings to support the sales process.
- Provide on-site support for training and installation as needed.
