Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in HVAC and data center cooling control methodologies and strategies.
  • Ability to operate as a Solutions Engineer independently.
  • Understanding of applied thermodynamics, refrigeration, and hydronics.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial and commercial control systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
  • Deep understanding of data center specific controls and cooling methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Python for coding and AI tool implementation.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Data Scientists as technical experts for Phaidra's customers.
  • Create a model of customer facilities for AI agent ingestion, working with the AI research team.
  • Define AI problems, understand technology capabilities, identify value creation opportunities, deploy solutions quickly, and improve operational processes.
  • Collaborate with the product team to define product requirements based on customer needs.
