Requirements:

• Advanced degree in nuclear engineering, energy policy, environmental science, physics, or related field focused on nuclear safety or fusion technologies.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in nuclear safety, regulation, or fusion energy.
• Track record of producing high-impact policy documents related to nuclear or fusion energy.
• Experience engaging with regulators and industry leaders.
• Strong communication skills to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive in developing innovative strategies for emerging trends in fusion energy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee CATF’s international working group on fusion safety.
• Supervise contributions of four consultants.
• Represent CATF in official forums and international meetings.
• Monitor NRC initiatives and regulatory relevant events.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of critical outputs.
• Facilitate communication with industry leaders and policymakers.
• Foster partnerships to advance harmonized safety frameworks.
