Principal Mobile Engineer - Android

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Software development experience.
• At least 7+ years in designing and developing Android mobile applications.
• 5+ years of experience with modern Android development frameworks like Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
• 5+ years working with cross-functional teams for user experience delivery.
• 5+ years of experience influencing best practices in Mobile Android development.
• 5+ years of accessibility experience.
• Strong desire for TDD development, continuous delivery, code review, automation, and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Android code focusing on complex use-cases.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, and Engineers to iterate on features.
• Mentor and guide team members regularly.
• Improve and maintain mobile apps CI and CD infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborate to drive solutions to reduce cost and time to market.
• Be responsible for end-to-end application delivery, including production deployment coordination.
• Monitor application health and KPIs, supporting triage of any production issues.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Advocate for security best practices within engineering.
