Senior Platform (Devops) Engineer

Requirements:

• Engineering and DevOps mindset.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in Platform/Infrastructure and/or DevOps engineering for enterprise customers.
• Public Cloud engineering experience with GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with containers, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux skills.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Packer.
• Knowledge in Estate and Patch management.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Coding/Programming experience, ideally in Python.
• Related industry qualifications in GCP or AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee various cloud platform implementations and coordinate with supporting teams.
• Investigate and resolve incidents related to cloud platform services.
• Promptly address critical issues related to cloud services as part of an on-call rotation.
• Conduct thorough post-incident reviews to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Consultative delivery of Platform engineering solutions.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations when required.
