Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
• Self-starter who can work independently and on a team.
• Previous experience as an accountant, controller, accounting supervisor, or manager.
• Experience in the full accounting cycle.
• Experience with Xero and Quick Books Online.
• Must have the legal right to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts for client organizations.
• Assist with defining, benchmarking, and implementing operational best practices.
• Understand all aspects of accounting cycle for client work including billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, budgeting, revenue recognition, and special analyses.
• Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and manage the monthly close process for client organizations.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain integrity of information.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client relationships and collaborate to provide strategic advice.
