Requirements:
  • Strong alignment with company values.
  • Proficient in English at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
  • 6+ years of experience working as a full-stack engineer on complex web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL/Postgresql, ReactJS, TypeScript, CSS/SCCS, TailwindCSS.
  • Ability to build most small to medium features end-to-end across the stack.
  • Great communication skills in writing and verbally in English.
  • Experience on a fully distributed remote team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with some ambiguity.
Responsibilities:
  • Work autonomously on Ruby on Rails backend and React front-end.
  • Build critical features and improvements for the web app.
  • Collaborate closely with Circle's leaders and designers throughout the feature design process.
  • Identify architectural deficiencies and improve the quality of the codebase.
  • Learn and maintain new integrations with services such as OpenAI, Zendesk, Hubspot, Notion, and Slack.
  • Prioritize speed of iteration while ensuring quality of code and user experience.
