Proven experience in SWIFT integration, including extensive hands-on knowledge of SWIFT payment systems, SWIFT messages (MT/MX), SWIFT GPI, and ISO20022.
In-depth understanding of correspondent banking relationships and their operation within the SWIFT ecosystem.
Familiarity with payment processing, settlement, and reconciliation processes within the SWIFT environment.
Strong experience in managing or supporting platform integration projects in the fintech or banking industry.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with REST APIs, system architecture, and software development processes.
Experience in conducting risk analysis for integration projects and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
Good knowledge of the regulatory frameworks applicable to SWIFT payments and correspondent banking.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end integration process of SWIFT into the neobanking platform, enabling client transition to SWIFT network participation.
Develop, maintain, and update detailed SWIFT integration documentation, including requirements, project plans, and regular reports.
Engage with correspondent banks and align with SWIFT messaging standards.
Conduct risk analysis for the SWIFT integration process and propose mitigation strategies.
Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems related to SWIFT integration and international payment systems.
Work closely with project manager and CPO to manage the integration roadmap and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Support the technical team by clarifying requirements and validating compliance with SWIFT standards.
Coordinate communication among external partners, vendors, and internal teams to address integration issues.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for SWIFT integration and ensure updates are rolled out effectively.
