Content Creator, Grades 3-8 Math (24 months fixed-term)

Requirements:

• Proven ability to create high-impact learning content in grades 3-8 Math subjects including Algebra I (minimum of 2 years of content development experience).
• Strong intuition for how students learn and insight into misconceptions (minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching/tutoring experience).
• Experience in edtech developing math content is a plus.
• Experience working with multiple standards sets (e.g., CCSS, State Standards) for course alignment.
• Desire to teach at scale and leverage online tools for content publication and user feedback.
• Highly analytical, with project management skills and attention to detail.
• Impeccable command of written communication and collaborative work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the content team to expand Math courses using market research and subject matter expertise.
• Develop course scopes and sequences, including units, lessons, and content assets.
• Create and curate high quality content on schedule, including exercises and lesson videos.
• Accountable for content from contractors and third parties.
• Track performance and usage of course content.
• Leverage analytics to attract and retain learners.
• Learn and use the content management system for course improvement.
• Act as an editorial expert by reviewing new and existing content.
• Contribute to long-term strategic direction of content efforts.
