Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry (2nd state examination).
  • 5 years of professional experience in a similar role or comparable experience.
  • Ideally some leadership experience.
  • Several years of experience in specifications management.
  • Extensive experience in complaint management is essential.
  • Fluency in German and very good English.
  • Experience with European food law and food production are essential.
  • Knowledge of Swiss food law would be beneficial.
  • Strong expertise in food analytics and microbiology.
  • Knowledge of food packaging is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and underlying processes.
  • Ability to work independently, structured, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and focus on deadlines.
  • Hands-on mentality and ability to find solutions quickly.
  • Ability to work and make decisions in an agile, results-oriented manner.
  • Professionalism and conscientiousness in stakeholder interactions.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to processes and local standards for products in the DACH Region.
  • Responsible for continuous quality improvement of products.
  • Lead and develop a team of two Senior Experts and manage at least one product group.
  • Manage specifications, product labeling, and product approvals with 25% travel.
  • Handle critical complaints, conduct root cause analyses, and create action plans.
  • Lead crisis management for assigned product groups.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements across all processes.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders in Procurement and Ingredient Development.
  • Work with suppliers to maintain and improve product quality.
